How do foot passengers access the ferry?

Depending on which port you are travelling from, foot passengers will either board the ferry via a shuttle bus or walkway.

Via Holyhead, Dublin, Liverpool,  Belfast (VT2 to Liverpool) and Cherbourg Ports:

Foot passengers will be transferred from the Passenger Terminal to the ferry on a shuttle bus

Via Cairnryan, Belfast (VT4 to Cairnryan), Rosslare and Fishguard Ports:

Foot passengers are required to walk from the Passenger Terminal to the ferry via a covered walkway. This walk is at least 200m which may not be feasible for some guests. Please notify our staff at check-in that you will require assistance and we will ensure that is arranged for you. It’s important that you arrive to check-in at least 30 minutes before departure to allow us to put the arrangements in place for you. In Belfast (VT4) and Cairnryan Ports, a shuttle bus is available that can take you from the Passenger Terminal directly to the ferry. In Rosslare and Fishguard Ports, alternative assistance will be provided.
