Halmstad is the starting point of Kattegattleden – Sweden’s very first national cycling trail which was once awarded European Cycling Route of the Year by the Cycling & Hiking Fair. This unique cycling route extends across 390 km and passes through picturesque fishing villages, stunning fields and the breathtaking scenery of Halland and beyond. Prince Bertil’s Trail is an easy 18 km hike with seaside views as well as stretches of green forest.
