Loch Ryan Port, Cairnryan is located in Dumfries and Galloway. The port is approximately a 1 hour drive to Ayr, 2 hours to Glasgow and 3 hours to Edinburgh. There is a large car park with over 300 spaces in front of the terminal building with large spaces for blue badge holders. The car park uses registration number recognition and is ticketless. Payment for the car park, for stays of less than 7 days, may be made by card at the pay stations in the travel centre. You may also pay on arrival using the Horizon Spaces app using the location ID 51212. If you are staying for more than 7 days, please use the app.

All persons entering or using this car park do so at their own risk, Stena Line are in no way responsible for loss, injury or damage sustained by them or for loss or damage to vehicles and their contents left within the car park. Camper vans (without a trailer attached) are permitted to park in carpark but they must fit into the one designated parking space.
Bus connections are available to and from Ayr railway station for passengers on selected sailings who have pre-booked a Rail & Sail ticket to or from Glasgow, Edinburgh and other rail destinations in Britain.
Coach connections are available on selected sailings to and from Glasgow, Edinburgh and other destinations for passengers who have pre-booked an Express coach ticket.
Taxi services are available to and from the port. Ask in the travel centre for a recommendation.
