Karlskrona port on Sweden's south-east coast is easily accessible via motorway. Karlskrona has excellent transport links however, as the port is situated on a different island to the main part of the town, a taxi or bus trip is required to access the port for rail and foot passengers.

From Malmö take the E22 which leads directly to the terminal. From Gothenburg take the E6 to Halmstad then either route 15 or the E4 heading east towards the E22. The terminal is located on Verkö - about 10 km from Karlskrona; follow signs for Verkö and Gdynia with the ferry symbol.
Car parking is available outside the main Stena Line Ferry Terminal and is free for 1 hour. There is a secure long term car park payable using the Easy Park or Parkster apps.
Karlskrona has great rail connections to destinations around Sweden. If you wish to travel from Malmö or Gothenburg, take Skånetrafiken’s train to Karlskrona C Hållplats. Please note that you will have to take a bus or taxi to the ferry terminal from the station.

The bus station is located opposite the main train station beside McDonalds. To get to the Stena Line Port, take bus number 6 to the last stop which is outside the Verkö terminal. The journey time is approximately 30 minutes.
You can catch a taxi to the Stena Line Ferry Terminal; the journey takes approximately 10 minutes from the centre of Karlskrona. The cost will be approximately 200 - 300 SEK.
