Liepāja port is easily reached from the A9 from the east or A11 from the south of Latvia and is less than 30 minutes walk from Liepāja's rail station.

If you are driving from Riga take the A9 and follow signs for "Osta". When you reach an intersection where you can see a sign that says “Brivosta”, turn right and stay on the main road. Travel on this road until you cross railway tracks then take a left turn where you will arrive at the Stena Line Liepāja Ferry Terminal.

 

If you are travelling from Klaipeda drive on Zirnu Street until you cross the railway bridge then take a left turn and cross two road junctions. Before you reach the 3rd junction, take the outer lane of the carriage way and turn right. Take a left turn left onto Raina Street and drive until you reach an intersection with signs showing a pictogram of "Pramis" (Ferry). Turn left and, after crossing the railway tracks, turn left again to reach the Stena Line Liepāja Ferry Terminal.

 

At Stena Line Liepāja Ferry Terminal there are approximately 20 unattended parking spots.

 

Check-In Instructions

 

  • Park your car in the designated area near the terminal.
  • Exit your vehicle and walk into the terminal building.
  • Use the check-in booths inside the terminal to complete your check-in process.
  • Ensure you have your travel documents ready.

To get to the Stena Line Ferry Port, take bus numbers 10 or 11 and get off at the Silku Street bus stop. It takes approximately 25-30 minutes to walk to the Ferry Terminal from the bus stop. You will need to cross the main intersection and walk to the end of the Silku Street. When you reach Brivostas Street, cross the railway tracks and turn left to reach the Stena Line Ferry Terminal.

 

How to get to Riga

 

To travel to Riga, you can take an intercity bus from the Liepāja Bus Station, which has regular departures to Riga throughout the day.
